This is my second go round with SparkPeople also. This site offers so much, all we have to do is really follow the program. We don't need to be perfect, just put out an honest effort. I am hoping that your health improves and that we can "spark" one another on to become the fitter and healthier. Good luck!

Hi fellow 'Sparkies' tried this site a few years ago for a few months and drifted off. Recently having had an abnormal result on my kidney function Sparkworld was the one place I knew where I can hope to control my protein intake, also check potassium, sodium and other elements I must avoid or curtail. I remembered before that when I used Sparkpeople my diet was erring on the protein side and the thing is even bread contains it, especially oat bread, trying to be healthy needs rethinking for me so here goes
