Welcome to Spark People! I am a member of the Slowest Loser team, and I can sympathize with you. If you complete the January Jumpstart Workout Challenge, you'll definately have exercise built in as a "habit", which will help you lose those pesky pounds. As far as diet goes, just take one week at a time and try to introduce one good for you habit (i.e. drink 8 glasses of water a day, eat 2 fruits a day, etc.). By starting out slow with the changes, they are more likely to stick. And you'll get plenty of support and information here to help keep you on track.
Hello! I have been trying to lose the same 15-20 pounds for the past year and a half. I start strong for a few days only to have something to pop up during the week to derail my diet. I've started and stopped so many diets and my husband and I joke that "My diet always starts tomorrow". I was injured and unable to run for almost a year. I can finally run again without pain, which gives me hope that I can get back in shape. I used to have so much willpower when it came to dieting but have somehow lost that. I've been reading other Sparkpeople's blogs for a while now and thought that it could help me lose weight too. I'm willing to give it a try!
