Brantiff, If you have children needing meals and snacks, then you must also need at least the meals? So, if you have to provide these meals and snacks - definitely make them healthy, so you can join in. If food is to be provided by parents for you to heat and serve, or whatever, why not draw up a new policy document about healthy eating, and provide suggestions for parents & carers?
Welcome Maybe you could start feeding the children all healthy snacks, have classes teaching them to eat healthy. Depending on their age they maybe able to help you loose the weight. Enlist their aid to eat healthy to help you

Welcome to the challenge! You will definitely find the support you need here at Spark People. We've all had times when we don't eat as healthy as we'd like or exercise like we should. i am 57, 248 lbs, have been overweight since high school and really want to get to a healthy weight. I have high blood pressure problems and would like to get it under control and get off the meds. I am a home day care provider and it is hard trying to feed the children food and snacks they like and then i try not to eat along with them. For the past 4 days I have been eating well with greek yogart, fruit chicken and fish and veggies. I have gone weeks with eating healthy and exercising but when trouble strikes, I go back to old ways. I really need help. I am quite sure this program is the one, I feel real hopeful about it.
