Okay

I made it through Friday I didn't have one muffin or cookie that was sitting on my desk. emoticon I went home didn't make the gym emoticon but I didn't snack at all before dinner which was hard for me since I got out of work at 3pm and dinner was at 6:30. We went to the Outback and I ordered the 8oz prime took all the fat and muscle off it and it turned into a 4oz prime emoticon had a small baked potato and 1/2 small salad. Walked Lowe's looking for things for the bathroom for an hour and had a healthy snack. I'm so proud of myself. Yesterday was great and so far so it today. I hope I'm on a roll

I triy and report back again

THEMUSICIAN---How are you doing? I'm looking for your post I'm wearing my spy glasses emoticon so hurry up and let me know how you are doing.

What a beautifully explained challenge, AuntieDarling!
I am really excited to see results from both of you - and I'll be trying to do my bit, too, in the background, and cheering you both on emoticon

Hi Elizabeth,

Speaking from experience --- It's nice to want to have a reason to loose the weight - like going to college and your right that in itself is a drastic chang for you . I want you to remember that the weight change is for yourself. It will be terrible to set such an unrealistic goal. Yes I believe you can loose the 60lbs.=again speaking from experience. But you have to make the life style changes in order to do that. You will go to college that won't change but I don't want you showing up being dissappointed in yourself. Set a goal of doing one habit change a day and take it from there. =Again speaking from experience- I had a wedding to go to I was the mother of the groom and I was going to loose 100 lbs in a year - realisticly i lost 3lbs because I set myself on such a high goal that when it didn't happen I fell back into my old habits. After the wedding I took my own advice and made one change a day and yes I lost weight not the hundred lbs but I did loose 74 and have kept it off for 7 years. Now I too have to set a goal of on change per day to loose the rest. My expectations of what I can accomplish in th past 2 years have caused me to fail. And your post reminded me of that. So tomorrow I'm going to do one change a day and I'm going to do it for myself and not for a reason except to keep myself healthy. This week I plan on not eating a muffing that sits on a plate on my desk for the residents where I work. It will be hard but that is my plan of action starting at 8am on 3-15. Are you with me :???? Please let me know how each day goes. I really want to watch you succeed and I really want to see what habit you change every day or a habit once a week will work as well. I'm proud of you for re-committing yourself it takes a strong person to do so.

Hi. I'm Elizabeth. I'm re-committing myself to my weight loss... For real this time. I aim to lose a bit over 60lbs by November, and hopefully have made a drastic change by August, when I go to college for the first time. It's time for change!
