Embrace yourself for taking that first step and focus on the positives that you will be doing. We all have less that perfect days so don't beat yourself up.

There are many workout videos on SP and walking is the best exercise that you can do anywhere (even in front of the t.v. watching your favorite shows). I would start building a fitness DVD collection at home so that you have your "gym" at home!! You WILL do this!

Do you have a daily routine? I know you say you work odd hours - but you could still be having work and home life sort of timetabled, with just the actual time of day changing. If so, it should probably be easier to slot in some exercise time or times. It's something you could maybe even do on a weekly basis, similar to menu planning And/or put your exercise times on your calendar or in your diary. Just a couple of ideas that might help....
I am 52 years old and have been fighting with my weight most of my life. I am tired of being depressed, binging (chocoholic) and felling like crap all of the time. I really have to do this because I want to feel better! I have a hard time becaue I work strange hours and we don't get any lunch breaks. I don't have a lot of money so joining a gym is not a possibility. I know it sounds trite, but today really is the 1st day of my new life. With support and understanding, I really think I can do this. Thanks to you all!
