Hi Priscilla,
Great priorities.
I believe that the plainer you make your priorities for yourself, the more likely you are to achieve them.
If the goal is feeble or iffy - there's no way you'll achieve it AND make it stick.

Do you have anyone who can help you to "cast off" the work stuff - apart from close family? Sometimes it helps to have a "rant mate" - just so you can download outwith the home place and home people.
I know I can rely on my DH for help, but only when I get him properly sorted out - and that can raise as much stress as I'm trying to get rid of.
Whereas, there are a few very special friends I've made here on SP, and on another site called
FlyLady, where I know I can go and vent, sometimes with a vengeance!
There are loads of friends here where I can have an everyday vent, nobody comes back and is judgmental outwith what you can cope with.

If you want a rant mate - le6 me know, and I'll cope with it. And maybe even manage to send some messages back - which may or may not be helpful, but you can let me know once you've calmed down and thought about things emoticon

Hello. My name is Priscilla. I'm 48, soon to be 49. I tried this website before and lost 25 pounds. It was great until I started back to work. I gained it all back and then some. My biggest problem is not eating right and not making the time to track. Another thing I realized when I lost the weight was I had to obsessively focus on weight loss. It seemed to take over my life, which I'm not happy about. I definitely want my faith to come first, then me and family, then work. Work seems to insist on my priority though and I'm not happy about that either. I hope this time I can keep it off and still have a life. God bless you all and thank you once again Sparkpeople people :)
