glad you are joining us on this journey to a healthy lifestyle. You have set your goals and I wish you success. I set my goals for 25 lbs. The larger picture of 125 lbs seemed too much for me. I have now lost 50 and it has taken a year, but that's ok because I am on a journey not in a race.

hi, im sher and i have been trying to lose weight for years. i have used sparkpeople before but not faithfully and i am just determined that this time im gonna do something. i weigh 339 today and hope to reach a goal of 180 in about a year. im 52, married to a wonderful man who accepts me anyway i am, 3 kids, 1 grown and married with a child of her own who is the light of my life and 2 boys still at home 18 and almost 16.
