Down 2.8 this week. Yay! Love WW!! Only got a few minutes with the personal trainer last Friday. Did my weight and measurements. Looked only very briefly at my food log and said "you are eating to many fruit servings a day, we will have to talk about this." Then informed me his next apt. was there and we would get into more next Wed. Not sure if I am going to like this kid (he is only 21 but has supposedly been competative body building and training with trainers and other body builders since he was 16) Any who....I am only eating 2 fruit servings a day 3 on occational days. They tell me at WW I need more servings a day. So what the heck. Can't wait to talk to him more Wed. and get clarification. I hope he doesn't think he is going to stick me on some restrictive fad diet for fast results because that is definately NOT what I am looking for. I have done the fast fad thing over the years and in the end always end up packing it in and eventually regaining it all and some extra back. I totally have a handle on this weight loss thing now. I KNOW this is a life style change and slow and steady wins the race. My changes till now have all been very doable and very livable for long term success. I feel confident now that I can continue losing and maintaining finally. I hope he is not going to try and throw a monkey wrench into this. But we will see what happens Wed........
Hi everyone!! I have been a member of Sparkpeople for a number of years but unfortunately its been an on again off again affair with more offs than ons. Well no more!! I joined Weight Watchers this past January and in 8 months have lost almost 60 pounds! I have never previously lost this much in my attempts and I am still going strong. I have come back to Sparkpeople because things are slowing down and its time to shake it up. I plan on letting my WW membership expire (which will be Oct 8) and am going to go back to counting calories instead of points. And with that extra money I am hiring a personal trainer (who I will be meeting up with this Friday, yikes!) Up till now I have managed to somehow accomplish this much without exercise but I know that it is important and will help rev things up again for those last 33 pounds that need to go! I plan on weighing in each Monday which is the same as my WW weigh ins have been. So this is the perfect place to check in and keep up that accountability that I have gotten used to. Can't wait to share in everybody's achievements, so Good luck everyone and Happy Losing!!
