Meet Slendermama1,

This member is NOT ready to give up on herself. She is determined to learn to lead a healthier life for herself and reach goals. She has currently lost 19 pounds! emoticon Hopefully, she has some plans in store now for exercise activity to accommodate the cooler weather.

I started putting on weight about 5 years ago. It has been a gradually going up, I can no longer get into any of my old clothes, so went up a size, I can no longer get into any of those, so went up again and again. I lost most of the weight last year over a period of 6 months and put it all back on and a few extra pounds in 6 weeks !!! It was so demoralizing.... I am not ready to give up on myself and am going to try again.... I go to the gym twice a week.and a one hour walk most other days. I am not overly fond of meat though I do have crispy reduced fat bacon. I have a sweet tooth second to none and I LOVE good bread dipped in great olive oil. in fact I enjoy good food, I am a pretty decent cook and love dinners out etc. I am so tired of being fat, I would love some support on my weight loss journey - I dont think I can do it on my own yet again.

My Goals:
My goal weight is 125lbs.
Ideally my waist around my belly button should be 30 inches or less...good luck with that one !
I would like to sleep better and have more energy during the day. Yay !

My Program:
I am doing my best to give up sugar in all forms and reduced my intake of refined carbs to as close to nothing as I can.
Walk at least 6days a week till the end of summer. I'll have to find something else to do once it gets too cold outside.
Keep hydrated.
Sleep earlier
Do some kind of core strengthening at least twice a week.

That's enough changes for now. I'll look at this again in a few weeks to see if it's working.
