This recent newlywed is getting tons of support and motivation from her husband who also wants to join the journey with her. How awesome is that?
Don't give up!
Hi my name is Kaitlyn. I am 24 going on 25 and I am the heaviest I have ever been. A few years ago I I faced a devastating emotional loss, I lost my Dad at 21 yrs old and I stopped taking care of myself. I am so fortunate to have the friends and family I have, and they have motivated me to take care of myself and get healthy again! I am so excited for my journey!

My goal is to work my way back to my high school weight (I think everyone says this). But my main goal is to just be healthy. My husband and I have started hiking and our goal is to hike the South Sister in Sisters, OR in September. We will see!
I am eating healthy and being aware of what I put into my body. It's amazing how my views have changed. I'm starting to listen to what my body needs, which honestly may be chocolate one day :), but I am still losing! Since starting my new "healthy lifestyle" I have never once felt deprived.
I am a newlywed and loving every minute of it. My husband is so supportive of my new goals and has even changed his eating habits with me. My family and friends are amazing and my Mom is my best friend. I have a dog, Ruby, and I treat her like a kid in a fur coat :) I love to hike now, love Zumba, and things that keep me active. --NEVER thought I'd say that :)
