Thanks for posting. Wow, you ran a 5K? Awesome. When making big changes in your life, you want to try to set small goals. Once you mastered them, add a few more. Before you know it, you will be leading a whole new life.

I am a 30 year old working mother of two boys ages 3 and about to be a year. My husband of four years works shift work and I find myself alone with the kids a lot. I have been struggling with depression for a while now and am an emotional eater. I want to be a great example for my boys of how to live life and not what not to do. I desire to make us all a family that is active and healthy eaters. I am learning each day, but can not seem to break the habit of eating junk and just eating for every reason under then sun then being hungry. Last Saturday I did acheive a goal of completing a 5K and inpsite of my arthirits, I did it an hour and 7 minutes. That was a great feeling and I can not wait to start accomplishing more.
