Don't worry, this is very common. Sometimes the first 5 pounds is just water weight alone! Don't get discouraged. Just keep doing what you are doing! Please do NOT go under what SP recommends on calories. You may see short term gains but the weight won't stay off in the long run. Your body will go into starvation mode...which is probably what the articles stated that Kelly posted below for you.
Keep up what you are doing, If you would like I would maybe increase strength training and eat more protein. This could help you lose faster as well.
Don't be discouraged and make sure that whatever you're putting into your fitness minute tracker is accurate and be aware of what you're eating. Even though your watching your calorie intake, what you're eating can make a world of difference too.
Using the ''Talk Test'' as a Measure for Exercise Intensity
Hi I have been using this website since April 28 2012 in the first 3 1/2 weeks I lost 6 pounds Iand I was sooo happy but now for some reason I have only been able to keep off 4lbs of it. I have been having issues with eating a little over the fat intake levels and am wondering if that would be the reasoning for this. I also was eating at a lower calorie intake in the beginning but spark said I need to eat more for the calories I was burning during my excercising routines. Can you try to eat lower calories even thought spark says not to ? I did notice that I was hungry all of the time and now its not so bad. Can you please help me understand if I'm doing something wrong or just wasting my time again. Thanks
