You're on the right track; tracking and mindfulness are important. Even if that pound is stubborn this week, you will be doing what you need to do for your future health. keep it up!
I think this a very good goal but don't get discrouaged if you don't hit it! The important thing is that you are on the right track!
I have shared my story with a few others. it took me a full 6 weeks to drop ONE pound but then I average 1 a week after that. The important thing is NOT to quit! You are worth the effort!

Charles, you are approaching setting reasonable goals in the right way and I'm happy to learn that you're already tracking your food intake. You're hitting the ground running!
