Carol, welcome! I've been where you are and I am certain many others have too! My best advice is to make small, PERMANENT changes and keep working at it a bit at a time.

One change after another and you will soon be back in optimal health. Get involved in this and other teams, set up a support system and be kind to yourself!

Hi! I'm Carol. I've been up and down with my weight my entire life. Only now is it really sinking in how much damage I've done to myself with all the junk I've put in my body for the past 50+ years. I have alot of the necessary knowledge to lose weight and be healthy, I just can't seem to keep going. I start, lose 3-4 pounds, then lose interest. I've been 40# lighter than this once in my recent life, so I know how good I felt and how good I looked (at least I thought so!). I have to keep a low key attitude to keep my sanity at my job, and sometimes I think that's part of the problem. My enthusiasm is gone. Any help out there?
