Just wanted to take a minute to introduce myself...my name is Cindy, I am 46 years old and a registered nurse in NC. I have fought the weight battle all of my life, like a roller coaster ride. Last time I did it successfully for any length of time I went from a size 22 jeans to a size 10 in about 4 months with working out for only 30 minutes everyday on my lunch break. Keep in mind that was when I worked as a prison nurse and got a lunch, uninterrupted, everyday lol.
I am now at a size 18....started at 244 lbs now down to a whopping 241! And I have noticed that now that I am in my 40's it is a hell of a lot harder to accomplish my goals.
The hospital I work at has built us a gym which is awesome and I go there on my days off....work days I work 12+ hour shifts so no gym for me on those days.
My biggest problem is while I am at work, usually we are soooo busy that we don't always get the time to have good meals like we should, much less drink the water we should. AND to add to my plate lol I called the NCQuitline (smokers quitline) and I am waiting for my nicotine patches to come in the mail and then I am doing away with those too. Haven't figured out if I am a glutton for punishment or just plain crazy to do both at once lol
Anyway, that is me, I can use all of the support that I can get, and I will offer all of the support that I can give.
Good luck to everybody..
Hugs and luv,
PS. If I have a friend on here who does this...is there like a friend's list u can add them too?
