Hello Jackie,and WELCOME To The Team!! I used to say that "Sweating Is Against My Religion", but I have learned to embrace it -- at least for a short time 3 or 4 times a week, LOL!!

Hello, everyone! My name is Jackie, and I am from Missouri but have lived in Vegas for 9 1/2 years. I am a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, thus my handle

I'm trying to lose the 30 pounds that have found me since moving here (I've also quit smoking and herniated a disc in my back in that period of time). I absolutely HATE to sweat, but know that I have to do it to get the weight off.

Hello ladies,
My name is Debbie who has lived in LV for over 22 years. I am 48 and quit smoking in June 2011 and have really packed on the weight. I have struggled with my weight for a long time and have finally decided to get serious. I joined Planet Fitness 2 weeks ago and have faithfully walked the treadmill everyday for 30 minutes. I have had back surgery so I have to add one new exercise in every other week. I am the mother of two a 23 y/o daughter and a 21 y/o son so can not use the baby weight excuse anymore. My daughter and I will meet at the gym to work out which is great for the relationship. Just wanted to share a little with you and hope to find a place to belong on Sparkpeople.

Hi, I am Danielle lived in Vegas most my life. I am 26 and wife to Mr. Jones and a mom of 2 little girls one 4 and on is 15 months old. I have about 20 lbs I want to lose, but overall I want to be in shape. I have lost weight, but never have I been tone and slender. I am want to be a healthy example for my girls.
