It seems everyone has different reactions to diet. Here is the link to ICN's list to get started. My doctor recommended an elimination diet. So, you start with only safe foods for the first two weeks. If you are feeling OK, start adding one new food every day or every other day. This will help you identify which foods bother you. Some big no-nos include caffeine, alcohol, MSG, artificial sweeteners and fruits high in citric acid/vitamin C. (Don't worry, there are still some fruits with vitamin C that are OK like gala apples).
I have recently been diagnosed with I C and have 4 more IMSO treatments. I am at a loss as to what I can eat. I have given up coffee completely and drink only water. I don't know what foods to eat. I am 66 years old and weigh 289 pounds. I need some menu suggestions. Thank You
