Welcome back and good luck! I have been trying to cook healthier meals for myself and my DH and have found that the SparkPeople Cookbook is easy to follow and also gives you tips on how to change up some recipes so you don't always make the same thing even if you are using the same recipe. I have tried about 5 different recipes so far and for the most part I have enjoyed them all. I will have to check out the Easy Vegan Meals and see if it is something that would work for me. My DH doesn't like a lot of veggies so it can be hard for me to find recipes that will work for us both and it is just too hard to cook 2 different meals everyday.
Hi, I'm Marcia. I'm a returning Sparker, after being gone appx 6mos. Needed to get back to a routine, get rid of the junk food (again) and get back on track. Doing this on my own & wanting to get cooking healthier & losing so I can come off all the meds I'm taking. Just bought the cookbook (ebook) & will be planning out the rest my week tonight. Also bought the Easy Vegan Meals to help with some good recipes to make all those veggies I'm not found tasty. LOL
