Jennifer, I got my cookbook about four or five months ago, and I have already made a couple dozen recipes from it. I am confident that you will find many recipes that tickle your fancy.
My two favorites (and it was difficult to narrow it down to only two) are Crunchy Chicken Salad and Maple-Glazed Roasted Salmon. The chicken salad is absolutely perfect during hot, summer weather, light and refreshing. The salmon is so easy it is a perfect dinner to prepare after working all day, practically no effort at all. The fact that it is delicious is great, too!

Hello and So glad you joined Spark! n I've tried every diet and diet site you can think of and I think Spark is the absolute BEST. The tools are wonderful and the people are extremely supportive - keep active with your teams because they will give you so much encouragement and even a few hugs when you need them. The cookbook is great. I bought the Kindle version but I'm going to buy the regular book too. The Nutrition Tracker is my favorite tool because it keeps me honest and accountable for my choices. Also, check your daily reports on the tracker page - lower right hand side of the page is the box See Today's Full Report . This report was a key factor for me because by studying it for a couple of weeks I learned that I was eating way too many carbohydrates - potatoes, rice, pasta, etc. I cut back on these and now the weight is coming off nicely. Remember, slow and steady is the way to shed the pounds if you want them to stay off! I used to think it was some scientific formula but now I think it is because when you lose the pounds slowly, you are giving yourself the time to learn how to eat properly - adopting a new lifestyle - instead of just rushing through some fad diet that you could never stick with for life just to get some weight off fir bathing suit season Remember everyone is here for you

Welcome to Spark People! I've only been a member for a week, but it has helped me in SO many ways! The cookbook is amazing, and watch your email for recipes of the day too. There is a lot that you can do with the website. Take advantage of everything it offers you.

Hello all- I am new to SparkPeople but I want to do this right. I found out there was a cookbook and ran right out to Barnes and Noble and bought it. It was so new, the person helping me had to run to the back room to get me a copy! I am so excited about this book and the help it will bring me. I am not much of a cook, but I can follow a recipe. I bought this so my friend and I can plan meals, grocery shop, and cook some good healthy meals for both of our families. I have quite a bit of weight to lose, but I know it will take time.
