I think you will find Spark a great site and the people are great. We are all in the same place - trying to lose weight and get as healthy as we can be. Most of us have been up and down the "diet road" many times so you will get lots of understanding, support, and encouragement from your teams. My favorite tool is the Nutrition Tracker and the daily report you can get on that page. I wasn't losing much weight at all and it was very slow and so I took some time and studied the daily report for a few weeks. The answer was right there. I was eating way too many carbs. I just cut back on bread, pasta, rice and potatoes and now I'm seeing the scale moving downward.
Tracking my food is the way I stay honest with myself and accountable for my choices - it is my lifeline. Take the time to track what you eat, stay active with your teams, get in some activity every week, and most of all enjoy the journey
