Hi all, I'm Karen. I just got my cookbook today. It was my 20 pound weight-loss reward. I can't wait to try some of the recipes. All the recipes I have printed off from SP have been delicious. I've even brought a few to my book club and everyone asked for the recipes.
What are some of your favorites? Any recommendations on what I should try first? Happy cooking everyone!
Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. I am so excited to start cooking healthy meals. Because I am on a budget I don't want to waste the food I already have so I will use what I can and keep looking trough the book to see what I already have.
Welcome Jen: I know you will enjoy the cookbook. I am making the Slow Cooker Chicken Stew tomorrow. I actually made it once and had a serving of it. I really made it for my Mom for her birthday. She had it at a restaurant and loved it. I found it in our cookbook and told her. She wanted the recipe and I told her I already made it for her birthday present. I suddenly became her favorite child, at least for the moment.
