I am sorry to learn of your misfortune. It can be frustrating not to be able to do the things we are accustomed to. Activity is one. (I am right there with you.) However, it is possible to keep the nutrition on track, although it might not be as near as it would be if movement and cooking were easier. My suggestion would be to eat as healthy as possible, allow yourself healing time, and then begin to really focus on your original goals. It has occurred to me that as this is a lifestyle change it isn't static-as our lives change, sometimes we must change to accommodate. Usually, there are more positives than we realize, as a result if we pay attention. Just do the best you can for the moment. I wish you a speedy recovery, and look forward to an update. It will be interesting to see where your challenge has taken you.

I find that if I plan my meals and write down everything I eat, I can stay within my calorie range, You don't have to go broke to stay on track, There a lot of good protein beside the expensive cuts of meat. I eat a lot of chicken breast, fish and turkey, & beans. If you need recipes, go to the recipe section. Good Luck. You really can do this. Be patient with yourself and try to make small changes, This program works if you work the program. This is not a diet, it is a life style change,
