Hi everyone! Thank you all for the welcomings and all the kind words!! I went to the gym last night and am so sore today it is wonderful! I feel like I am on my way!
Please keep me posted on all of your journeys! I know some of you have talked about cooking in instead of eating out, and I am excited for you to share recipes you like - I am in a similar boat with my boyfriend, who hates vegetables and has a sweet tooth.....he of course, is not a pound over weight! He is very supportive though and is so diligent I know he will taste and try whatever I make. I have been trying to roast butternut squash and make carrots and things that are naturally sweet to compromise, but ultimately this is my journey and I need to get into my own rhythm. It's just so much harder with two ;)
So keep the stories and recipes coming!!

you're at the right place for encouragement and companionship! I also have as a goal to go to the gym 3 times a week, but am currently ill (for the past 2 weeks) with asthma, so unable to go. Looking forward to next week, when I hope things will be much better.
Hi BILLIEMURRAY I have the same goal- go to the gym three times a week. Didn't make it this last week because I was sick Thurs Fri Sat, but tomorrow starts a new week. Looking forward to it. Good luck in your metamorphosis.

Hi everyone! I am just starting out on here and am looking forward to talking with you all! I just joined a gym and my goal is to go at least three times a week for a month. I need to get back to feeling comfortable being uncomfortable...and right now it's important that I carve out the time to move my body. I can't wait to get back to being comfortable in my own skin!
