I think I screwed up with the rolls. I don't have a heavy duty mixer, so, I mixed everything by hand. there mustn't have been enough flour, because the second time it rose, the dough flattenend like cookie dough... result: very flat, heavy rolls. they tasted good, though, so' I think I'll try it again, but with a hand kneading like normal bread dough, and a bit of white flour for height.

"Hello from Rainy Northern Ontario"!

Hello! My name is Danielle. I'm hailing from North Bay, a city in the Northeast of Ontario, Canada.
Fall is getting here rapidly, we are currently experiencing "our" rainy season: I prefer rain to the other stuff (the one you have to shovel...).
When this time of year arrives, I get cravings for more satisfying food, like stews, soups, and, of course, warm bread, so, my favourite recipe from the cookbook, so far, is the multigrains rolls. I bought all the ingredients yesterday at the local bulk store, now, all I need, is a few hours to bake them!
I'll keep you guys posted!!

Hi Jules, I so know your frustration, mine took just as long to get to Melbourne.

Hi Jules -
I'm really looking forward to reading some reviews from you - especially as you are at the other end of the year from me in Scotland.
You're heading into summer - I'm heading into winter, and even in the sheltered valley where I live, we've had frost in the morning, the past few days.
So it'll be fun to see what recipes you make, compared with what recipes I make!
