Welcome! Welcome!

This is a place to exchange ideas, talk about the topics raised in the film “Forks Over Knives" and in the Engine 2 Diet book and website and to take that conversation to the next level. We are going to talk about food a lot on this team including where our food comes from and what happens to it on the way to the dinner table. We’ll talk about all of the great benefits of a plant-based diet for our bodies and for the planet.

Use the Create a New Topic button (the center button on the bar above this post) to open a new window and tell us a little bit about yourself. Do you eat a plant-based diet; are you still on the fence; or are you just curious? What brought you to this team? Do you have topics you’d like to discuss right away? All are welcome here! Thanks for sharing your story!

12.1.2013 Engine 2 Diet was added to the Forks over Knives team in November 2013, so there is no longer a separate Engine 2 Diet team. There is so much overlap between the two, that it made sense to combine the two teams. I hope you enjoy the changes.

“I don't understand why asking people to eat a well-balanced vegetarian diet is considered drastic, while it is medically conservative to cut people open and put them on cholesterol lowering drugs for the rest of their lives.” ~Dean Ornish

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, and today is a gift. That's why they call it the present. ~Eleanor Roosevelt
