My favorite post-workout meal is salsa and chicken. I just cut up and saute two chicken breast filets (like Purdue Perfect Portions) and once it's cooked at the end I add a couple of tablespoons of this locally-made fresh salsa. 320 calories, spicy & really yumm.

I fixed a pot of Mexican flavored soup simmered to thicken and concentrate liquid down. It has onion, sweet peppers, Chinese cabbage, carrots corn, garlic, black beans, leftover turkey, and Mexican Tortilla flavored broth with cumin. I like it plain but would be good with avocados, grated cheese, sour cream served on flour tortilla. I can eat healthy and have a few options available to help my family adapt to a Healthier fare.

I have a pot of low sodium hearty vegetable beef soup. Low calories and filling. I also throw a couple TBS. chia seeds in meal. They blend into anything and seem to fill you up as well as having a great nutritious benefit.

I love the variety and good taste of the diet entrees. I also love that they are calorie controlled. Throw in a piece of fruit and you have a filling lunch.
