Ditto on what Cindy said- just pick up with the Phase 2 diet and use that for the remainder of the program. I didn't do carb cycling, and unless you are already super lean, I'm guessing you will do just as well without it.
Learning to eat clean and measure everything can be quite a change (it was for me) so even improving as you learn will be a great skill!

Congrats on 9 weeks!!! Almost there!

Yes, I agree with Cindy. I would not do the carb cycling and do diet from previous phases. I am rethinking carb cycling myself. It has been difficult not really eating meat and no dairy. Think I will stick with diet for phase 2 until the end and up my calories on heavy days.

I think you can just pick up the eating where you are. However, that said, phase 3 involves carb cycling and calorie counting. So if you haven't been following the diet you might just want to follow what is laid out in phase 2.

I say that because it's a lot of change all at once to suddenly be counting calories and macronutrients and eating clean all at once. I've also been checking out other opinions, and unless you plan on really leaning out for a competition or something, carb cycling isn't really necessary. Jamie puts it in because she's provided a mini progam of what she does and phase three is basically what she would do prior to a show or photo shoot. I would personally start with eating clean for a couple of weeks, and then begin counting calories and carbs later.

Let me start out by saying...WOOHOO on making it to week 9. That is a major accomplishment. As for the diet, please don't beat yourself up about it. We do what we can when we are ready:) Sounds like you are ready, so I say just start where you are at and continue through. Being on the last phase myself I know that the workouts are tough. Make sure you are eating enough. The eating plan is a great guide for nourishing your body and teaching you to" really" eat with clean foods. I have modified the diet due to dietary restrictions, but also to things I can live with. Do I question whether I would have had better results had I followed it to a "t"? Yes, and probably would have, but I can see myself living with it and I feel SO much better:) I plan on doing a modified second round eliminating more of my food allergens. You can also do another round after and do it that time with the integration of the diet.

Again, congratulations on week 9. That is awesome!!! Please let us know what you decide to do and keep us updated on your progress. Can't wait to hear:)

HELP! am in week 9 of the program. However, I have a confession....I haven't really followed the diet that Jamie gave us. While I have seen improvement I am now ready to start eating according to plan (I know, I know, I should have just followed plan to begin with :(...) Can someone please tell me if I should start the program all over with the diet or just pick up the diet with the Phase 2 workout?
