I think you can just pick up the eating where you are. However, that said, phase 3 involves carb cycling and calorie counting. So if you haven't been following the diet you might just want to follow what is laid out in phase 2.
I say that because it's a lot of change all at once to suddenly be counting calories and macronutrients and eating clean all at once. I've also been checking out other opinions, and unless you plan on really leaning out for a competition or something, carb cycling isn't really necessary. Jamie puts it in because she's provided a mini progam of what she does and phase three is basically what she would do prior to a show or photo shoot. I would personally start with eating clean for a couple of weeks, and then begin counting calories and carbs later.
