Posted "before" photos on my blog "Period Progress Pictures- BLAH!" I hope to gain more muscle on this program! I'm extending the time frame to a year instead of 12 weeks for a more lifestyle changing approach :) this will be great!!!

I think not getting o the scale is a great Idea. I usually get put off because in the past when I have stregnth trained Ive gained in the beginning, better to get to the end of the three months and also measure inches lost!

I haven't taken pics but I will this evening.
Starting measurements are:
Bust under: 32.5
Bust over: 37
Waist at bell button: 31.5
Inner tube (widest part of waist)
which I really, really, REALLY want to get rid of: 39
Hips: 40.5
Thighs: 21.5

size 10-11

I have a pact with someone that we can not step on the scale until Sept so no starting weight. I don't really care about the scale # though. I just want to see those inches fall off!!!!!!

My before pics are up as well. I actually posted a blog on Aug 9th with before pictures and I am just going to use those as my starting point. Nothing much has changed in the last week or so. I am not unhappy with my current body but I know it can look so much better and that is what I am excited about!!

Hey, maybe others might want to blank out their faces in their weekly pics like I do?
Just an idea for those who want to participate by taking the weekly comparison shot but maintain their privacy. I saved the unedited versions for when I get to my goal for the "big reveal".
Works for me, anyways.

This thread is place to post your "before" pictures for the challenge! It will be important to take progress photos at least every other week to truly gauge your progress overall. Jamie notes that particularly in Phase 1, changes will be more about body composition rather than pounds on the scale.

If you are comfortable posting links to your before photos (blogs), please share them here!

If you are not comfortable, no pressure. Take photos for yourself-- you do not need to feel obligated to share.
