HI all! I'm a newbie here, but started yesterday. I actually did a different Jamie Eason workout, but none the less similar (upper body). My biggest struggle will be with eating clean, as this is one I have never tried.

ANYWAY, I'm Mandie, 35 and Momma to 2 little guys. Hoping I can figure this eating clean down! Any suggestions would be HELPFUL!!!!! :)

Looking forward to getting to know you all, and hopefully back on my path to losing the rest of this weight. I keep losing and regaining the SAME 10lbs! BLAH!

Hello, my name is Kim. I LOVE Jamie Eason, I just think her body is killer! I made it to my goal weight 2 years agoo, and then gradualy started gaining again. I know, so sad, right? I needed to find a sconsistent way to incorporate clean eating into my lifestyle, so when I saw Jamie's nutrition plan, I fell in love. It's almost identical to one I had while working with a trainer/nutritionist, so I knew I could do it. Not following the workouts at all because I too can not give up cardio because I plan on running a 5K every month and need to train. I also have ST classes at my Y that are paid for and I can't skip out on.

I have made Jamie's turkey muffins several times in the past and those things are so-oo good! I was trying to buy some ground turkey last night, and when the store was completely out, I realized there was that recall on Jennie-O ground turkey a few weeks ago. So umm, I'm going to Whole Foods and get some grass-fed, organic, better for me ground turkey to make my turkey muffins! In fact, I better get plenty and make a double batch.

And my goal is to get back to my goal weight and stay there! I am in a "Just Lose It Challenge" where I am comepting with 400 other people for top prizes. It's ran through a local hospital here. At the mandatory meeting I attended, I may have been the smallest person there...but I still plan on being in the top 10!

Hi everyone!

My name is Katy, I am a 24 year old student and I'm hoping to do something for myself by taking part in this challenge. I battle some self esteem issues, and with the help of a therapist and by working out (and checking into sparkpeople) I can hopefully get through them! :)

Hi everyone, I'm Kelly and SUZBFIT convinced me I can do this at home since I don't belong to a gym and told me about this team. I think I needed a change as I've been in a little funk to do some stuff with my job! I'm very excited for something new and different. I've already realized how much I missed using my barbell and this time of ST already. I'm more excited to be more consistent with my nutrition. I'm getting there but I'm a terrible emotional eater but I'm getting better each and every day as I'm well aware of my triggers. The more I eat clean, the better I feel overall as a mom, wife, friend, etc. Lately alcohol has been making me down and depressed so I'm pretty much staying away from that for the majority of the time for me.

I look forward to getting to know you ladies and good luck!! Let's RAWK IT!

Hi, I'm Kate. I'm committing to this challenge because I really want to make strength training a part of my life. I still have weight to lose and I'm hoping this will give me a needed boost off my plateau!

I'm Kristen and I'm looking for ways to get more strength training in - I've become a cardio queen by default with running!

My main goal is to follow the strength training and try to incorporate the meal plans where I can. As a vegetarian, I waver back and forth on clean eating (some of the veggie burgers would be considered less clean) so I'll work things in as I'm able.

I hope to be able to dovetail this with the Pimp My P(Ride) challenge as well as completing my first marathon in October.

Hi! This is my first time on a sparkpeople team, and I'm excited to begin! I am 34 years old, have four kids from 7 years down to 2 years, and am ready to lose the last bit of baby weight I'm carrying. I love lifting, and after four kids am rediscovering the gym and the weights.

My goals are to lose the last 10 pounds I have, but to mainly focus on losing body fat. I would like to see my body fat percentage go down about 5%.

I am looking forward to this!

Hey everybody! I'm super excited for this challenge. I have actually never heard of Jamie Eason until I read Fit-Whit's blong (I know, I know!!), but I looked into it and its sounds fun and challenging.
I'm a 36 year old, mom of three. I work full time, but always try and make time for working out! I have noticed in the past year a huge shift in my metabolism and I'm fighting like mad to keep my weight where it should be. I love challenges, they usually last just long enough so that I don't get bored and keep doing what I'm supposed to be doing!! Good Luck All!!

Hey everyone! I've been doing strength training for awhile, and have had some success. I've also been following Eat Clean principles for some time as well, but in the past few months, been inconsistent. I've been following Jamie Eason on Twitter, and have been looking forward to following this program since she announced it months ago. So, glad to see a SparkTeam dedicated to this!

Welcome ladies!! I'm so excited to have you all along on this challenge!!

Beth- I struggle soooo much with self control too, and sticking to a plan once I've made one!! That's why I'm hoping that having this group of support will be extremely beneficial when each of us feels tempted to give up and give in. Make sure to utilize the HELP forum when you're feeling frustrated, or even if you have questions along the way for others!

Hi everyone!
So I'm a huge fan of Jamie Eason, ever since subscribing to Oxygen magazine last year. When I heard about the 12-week trainer I just knew this was the perfect opportunity to meet my goals:

1. To learn how to eat clean. I struggle a lot with my diet and am extremely good at talking myself into thinking I can eat anything after a tough workout -- NOT ANYMORE! It might be a bit of a struggle since I'm a vegetarian, but I think I can get creative. :)

2. To be stronger and transform my body. I'm shooting to lose 20 pounds, and It'll be great to not be "skinny-fat" and actually be strong and healthy looking.

3. Learn self-control. I seriously struggle with sticking to a plan, which is why I'm thrilled to have found this group!!

I can't wait to get started! We can do it! :)

Hi! My name is Tracy and I am ready to start this challenge. I have tried eating clean a coupe of times and fell off the wagon. About a week ago I met with some people who were taking the supplements that Jamie talks about and also eating almost exactly what is on her plan. I have been doing their eating and supplement program now for 5 days and am down 7 lbs. I am excited to have a little more help with menus and exercise plans. I also love all the team motivation you get on a challenge.

I have almost 70 lbs to lose so if it’s OK with you all I am going to save you looking at my pics. I have them taken, but still very self conscience about this old body of mine.

My main goal is to lose weight so that the muscles I know are there can be seen.

Hi all!!
My name is Ebonee and I came across Jamie's program from a friend on Facebook. I just KNEW I could find support on Spark!

Basically, I have been struggling to get under 120# since I can remember. I am a mommy of one and hate what pregnancy has done to my body. I have definitely lost all the baby weight, but the last 15-20# have been tough. I am only 4'11, so I want to finally feel comfortable in my own skin.

My main goal is to get my eating under control. It's a bit difficult because my bf is a vegetarian who LOVES salty/tasteful foods. Also, my almost 3 yo barely eats meat as well. I want to learn how to make the food healthy but also taste really good. If it doesn't I won't continue...that has been the downfall in the past.

I'm excited because it seems fairly easy. The only thing I am concerned with is the fact that I am no longer a member of a gym. Is anyone else doing a modified version at home? Also, I can't give up my Zumba! It's an addiction!!

Let's do it!!

Hello, ladies (still no guys as far as I can tell)!

I am Megan, a full-time Air Force officer, part-time Masters student (nearly finished!!), and some-time home improvement nut. I was so excited to see Whitney post her intent to start this program in a status update, and absolutely ELATED when she started this team. This is just the kick in the pants I need to get back into a routine. I love the way the program is mapped out, and am going to follow it exactly as Jamie has planned.

My Goals:

emoticon To build MUSCLES!!! I feel so much better when I have more muscle mass, and I love how the inches melt off as well.

emoticon To clean up my eating. I was doing really well with this before I deployed at the beginning of the year. I am having a tough time getting back into the habit since returning a couple of months ago.

emoticon To finish the program. I have yet to follow through on a promise made to myself (in terms of fitness, that is). I can do this. It's only 84 days, and it will help me to build better habits again.

emoticon To look HAWT! The above reasons are great, but the final product is a nice bonus, too.

I look forward to working with all of you towards our goals!

~Megan

Good morning everyone. Okay, I had no idea who Jamie Eason was until Amanda (co team leader) posted something on my page and invited me to join. Then another Spark friend mentioned the program in her post, so I thought I'd take a look. I read through everyone's introductions and could relate to many of the things people were saying - sticking with a program, eating clean, discipline, patience, etc. Anyhow, I just finished a big mountaineering goal that had me 100% focused for about six months, so I'm looking forward to having something to keep me challenged and focused this fall. Here are my main goals:

1. Clean eating. This has always been a huge struggle for me. I'm an 80/20 person, but the 20% of the time that I'm not eating healthy is a time when I'm REALLY not eating healthy. Emotional eating is a pattern for me.
2. A new and exciting weight workout. I have to admit that my tired and true circuit at the gym is totally BORING. I was just looking into kettlebells to kick start things, but I'm going to give this program a try.
3. Cardio - I have no idea what's in store, but hopefully I can do it outside. It will be hard to break out of my cardio routine. I have a lot of discipline there, and I love to do all kinds of outdoorsy things.

Looking forward to doing this with all of you!

Hi! I'm Jewel, an avid sparker and super Jamie fan :)
I saw this challenge on Fit-Whit's page. I started a plan last month(I just finished week four today) and it had similar exercises to Jamie's so, I am making the switch.
I did the leg workout today and it was super awesome.
I am training for my first marathon in November.
I wish everyone the best of luck on this challenge :)
No excuses!

Hi all!! My name is Suzanne and I am 33 years old. I have been waiting for Jamie to release her plan for MONTHS now so I am super excited about this. I already weight train but I am ready to get serious and take it to the next level. My biggest obstacle will be following the diet because I get bored with the same foods very easily. I guess that means I need to get creative:). I may also continue to do minimal cardio during the first phase, just for heart health but I will limit it to a couple days per week for 20-30 minutes.

I am going on a cruise to the Bahamas in 10 weeks so this is a perfect plan for getting me bikini ready. I may also be looking to compete in my first bikini competition in the Spring of 2012 so this will be a good test to see how I do on a more strict plan.

Good luck to everyone!!!

Hey Aundrea- welcome!! I am going to struggle with WINE, too!! I think I will allow it once a week, only red, but that's it. I'm hoping we can all stick together to keep going through the 12 weeks and find awesome success!

Off to hit the gym now... WOOT! :)

My overall goal is to be fit by my wedding on 10/11/12, but I think this 12 week trainer is a good way to get started. :) It's will be nice to go through it with all of you here!

Hi everyone, my name is Aundrea. I started my weight loss journey last Jan and finally after years of stops and starts finally stuck with it. However, I have been a little lax over the past few months. I have been stuck in the 160s since last december and stuck in a size 10 since early this year. My goal is not so much weight loss as I already lost most of it but toning and tightening. I have always done strength training and I really do love it. I look forward to transforming by body and hopefully losing this stubborn belly fat and the inner thighs (how a runner can have such flabby thighs is beyond me lol)
I will still be keeping up with my running andI have pole dancing in Sept, and kickboxing starting in Oct.
I already eat realtively clean. I do eat tortillas, bread and pasta (all whole grain of course!) but I try to eat everything else unprocessed. I know I need to eat more food but it can be hard to wrap your head around that. I usually eat in between 1300-1600 and I need to kick it up to 1900.
My biggest hurdle is going to be alcohol. I do have a love affair with beer. The beer I drink is only 90cals and 2.5 g of carbs a bottle, but it is still beer. My goal is to keep it to my Saturday nights, and try to drink a little less.

I have started so many programs and never seen them all the way through. I look forward to this challenge with you guys and I think we have a great support team here!!!!!

Hello everyone, I am Upasna! I am so excited to get this program started from Saturday (need to build up the mental strength lol). I am definitely looking forward to this program but I know its going to be hard for me the next couple of weeks since I am moving/packing/job hunting all at once! I will need to find a new gym and begin everything from scratch but let's see how this goes!!
I probably won't follow the diet plan exactly since I am a vegetarian and some of her food is meat.....i will replace it with tofu or beans or something....lets see!! Eating clean is going to be a hugeee challenge for me considering I am not a fan of cooking!! Maybe this program will help me get interested in cooking as well!!
I am going to keep running as part of my schedule other than that no cardio! Hopefully I can follow through! I am known for leaving programs half way or giving up mid way! But I am going to keep a strong mind this time and follow through!!
Good luck to all you sparkers out there and fellow Jamie Eason fans!! Lets do thiss!! emoticon

Hi Everyone! I'm Amanda. I've been trying to break this plateau since April. I keep gaining/lost/maintaining the same 5 lbs. I still have about 30 lbs left in my weight loss journey. I've lost 50 lbs so far. I can't wait to be a part of the program. I love Jamie Eason and her influence throughout the Oxygen magazine. I'm excited to eat just about 100% clean as I hope that will really jump start my metabolism. I already follow a strength training program similar to Jamie's but this will change it up a bit. I'm also looking forward to a small break from cardio, although I am not cutting it out completely. I can't give up my Zumba and I need to keep running 2 days a week since I have a few 5k's this fall. Let's do this!

I have the tools and would love to follow her plans (exercise and meal) close to exact. That's where I'd love good motivatin sparkfriends!!! I'm going to take before and after pics and start it Monday with Jamie and a few of you!!! My goal? I'd LOVE to thin my legs and see more arm definition. I think 12 weeks is a perfect amount of time transform yourself!! So i want to go big. I'd die if I could reach 120..well sparkfriends...let's DO THIS!!!

Hi everybody, I'm Sarah and I've been thinking about starting to incorporate strength training into my workouts. Lately I have been focused on cardio and getting the weight down, but as I've started to see my muscles again it has inspired me to begin sculpting them. I first heard about clean eating on this site and am currently reading Tosca Reno's book. Although I would like to eat cleaner, my initial goal with this program will be to focus on building lean muscle mass.

Hello everyone!!

I'm Sandra. I've been back on Sparkpeople since mid-May and have lost 7 kilos so far (although I have put about 1.5 back on during my holiday in Scotland). I want to lose 20 kilos altogether.

I'm not really looking at losing a certain number of kilos on this programme - I just want to get stronger and fitter.

I've taken a look at the meal plans and I think I'm liking the Tosca Reno's approach to clean eating better so I think I'm going to stick with what I've been doing since the beginning of this week.
I have to keep in mind that I must also feed my 8 year old son and whatever I prepare has to be appropriate for him too as there is no way I'm preparing 2 different menus... I have better things to do!
I will still be using the information from the food list as it has a great list of starch portions.

So I guess I'm going to concentrate more on the strength training side of this and hope it gives me the body of Beyonce Knowles!! :D xx

I'm through with playing by the rules of someone else's game

It's time to try defying gravity
I think I'll try defying gravity
And you can't pull me down!

Hi! My name is Sara. emoticon I am really glad Whitney posted about this challenge as it could not have come at a better time. For the past year, I had been seeing a Personal Trainer 3-4 times a week. However, I had my last session with my trainer yesterday - so I am officially on my own again. It's a bit scary, but exciting as well. This challenge sounds like the perfect thing to kickstart the next part of my weight loss journey. In the past year, I have gone from 247lbs to 199lbs (onderland!). My goal is to lose at least another 25lbs. Mainly, though, I want to be fit and healthy. My exercise habits have definitely improved over the past year (started running, strength training, etc), but my eating habits still need work. Need to work on my sugar addiction, for sure... emoticon

I'll try and post some "before" pictures shortly.

Let's do this!! emoticon

Hi I'm Courtney! Thank you to Whitney for letting us know about the program and setting this group up!

emoticon

I've been on this weight loss journey for about 3 years, have lost at the most 64 lbs and ended up gaining about 30 back. I'm down about 50 from my highest right now and I have changed my original goal weight from 150 to 180. BUT for this program I am going to try to focus on seeing my body change, how I feel, and inches lost instead of the number on the scale! This will be the hardest part for me! I really want to get through the whole 12 weeks as well, no quitting!!! So I will be following the workout plan everyday and I am going to follow the nutrition plan the best that I can, but I will be moving next week and when I am in my own place, with my own fridge, it will be a lot easier to stock up on all the good healthy food that I need!

I will be taking my measurements and before pictures tonight. I will blog tomorrow with my measurements and maybe, if I gain the courage, my before pictures.

I look forward to seeing everyone’s success with this program and being able to come to you ladies when I need encouragement!

Hello all, my name is Nikki and I just joined the team. I had never heard of Jamie until yesterday when I started seeing all of my friends post about this new 12 week program. My goals are pretty simple....Kick butt!!! But really I want to stick with the whole 12 weeks and keep improving on my eating clean.
I want to improve my overall strength and think this program will be great in helping me achieve that. I recently started bodyrocking also and plan on continuing that three times a week at least and will also try to continue some running but am nursing some shin splints right now so that is a little on the back burner.
I am joining the army nurse corps next summer and am working on getting in the best shape of my life so I can have an easier time at boot camp with one less thing to worry about!!

Hi girls! *don't see any dudes yet*

I'm Christine, I've been looking for an ST program so that's my attraction.
I won't be following the diet 100% as I eat a ketogenic diet (very low carb intake), but believe me, I can keep up with the rest of you!

Sadly I'll have a little delay on my start up as my hubs and I are heading off on our annual Algonquin Park escape. Don't worry, I'll be working my tush off with endless paddling and portaging my 60+lbs pack through the bush.

I'll be starting Phase one as soon as we get back! You can all test drive it for me! :D

Hi! I'm Andrea..I'm glad I came across this team. I just started the same spark team yesterday, but you've got a head start on me so I'm hopping on your team! I've been a huge fan of Jamie Eason's for the last four or five years. She's absolutely adorable ...it's hard not to like her! I love that this plan is realistic...no starvation, no cutting carbs, no running on a hamster wheel hours every day. I do like running so I am going to continue my two mile runs two or three times a week. I'm so excited to start. I plan on using Sunday to get all my food prepped and in containers that are convenient to grab and go so I'll be starting Monday!!!! Yay!

Hello everyone, my name is Amanda.
I absolutely love Jamie Eason and I am so inspired by her. I think this program will really help a lot of people no matter what stage of weight loss or toning they are in. I am so excited about this team and the possibility of reaching so many with this program. I have about 25-30lbs I would like to lose and I also look forward to the possibility of competing in an Amateur figure competition. I know this will take hard work and dedication but we are all capable of that. I would love to help and support all team members in any way I can so feel free to reach out to me.
I can't wait to get to know everyone and see how far we can push ourselves.

Get out of that comfort zone, commit to the program and reach for the stars

Hi, ladies! My name is Tiffany and I'm really looking forward to the next 12 weeks on this program! I've had a pic of Jamie Eason on my bathroom wall for motivation for ages now, so I definitely have faith that a program she designed and says she follows herself will get results! However, I have done enough programs/challenges similar to this to know that the magic lies not so much in the program, but in committing to it and following through....THAT is the challenge.

I've been losing and regaining the same 10-15 lbs for the last year or so...I get to goal or very close to it by following one program or another, but then something happens that I allow to derail me. Sometimes I get frustrated by slow results and feel like I am making a lot of food sacrifices for nothing, which leads to falling off the wagon...or sometimes I actually finish the program then go a little hog wild with my eating as a rebound to the strict eating plan. So the challenge, for me, extends beyond the 12-weeks itself...I have to commit to not only the 12-weeks, but devising a follow-up plan that allows me to loosen the reigns a bit without going overboard and undoing all my hard work.

My goals are to gain some muscle and shed some body fat on this program. I am not setting a specific weight goal, I am going to follow the plan and see where I end up. I have been guilty of letting the scale dictate my mood, somehow feeling that my "real" life won't begin until I hit a certain weight...but right now, even at the higher end of what I consider healthy for me I am feeling good about myself because I have been making good food choices and exercising. I want to do everything in my power to preserve that feeling, and giving any sort of power to the scale would undermine that goal.

I want to get better at saying "no"' to food temptations and seeing it not as a sacrifice, but as saying "yes" and investing in my continued health and happiness! I don't want to eat something just because I don't want to hurt someone else's feelings, or because I think they might think I am "obsessive." I want to practice celebrating holidays, birthdays, parties, etc. not with unhealthy food, but by finding satisfaction in special activities or visiting with family and friends. At this point in my weight loss journey, I'm not going to get any further or see lasting changes unless I get my head in the right place and keep it there. This next 12-weeks, and beyond, is virtually 100% mental - everything else falls into place from there.

Hey Everyone! I'm Stephanie...I didn't know who Jamie Eason was prior to hearing about this livefit program. hahaha don't kill me. But I definitely want to get lean! Two years ago I committed to losing weight, went from 171 to 140 in just a few months and have lost about 2 pounds since then, despite my continuous efforts! So I'm definitely excited about following her plan, I'm going to trust this process and commit! My goal is to drop my bf % and tone up...I'll be posting specific goals, measurements, progress pics, etc on sunday, which will be my official start of the 12 weeks.

Good Luck Everyone! : )

Hey everyone I'm Mandy! I won't be following her exercise plan because i have a personal trainer and he'd kill me if I told him I was going to use someone else's! HAHA!

BUT I like the meal plan because its simple and easy and CLEAN! and that's what I need, so I'll be following that completely... starting Saturday when I actually have a chance to go grocery shopping and cook!

I'm like Amber in that I will also not be cutting out cardio as I have a half marathon (#2!) in Sept and well, I gotta get my training done! :) I will also be using the food plan as guide and for meal ideas, but I have found it impossible (esp working full time) to follow any meal plan exactly, since I can't keep a full fridge at work (wish I could!). Ok, enough babbling about what I'm NOT going to be doing. What I AM going to be doing if pumping some serious iron because my ST routine needs a wake-up call. I'm excited to join you all and many thanks to the lovely Whitney for getting this together! I'll take an initial pic later today and throw it up on the blog. Looking forward to being super buff in 12 weeks and onward! :D Here is my starting stats:

Height: 5'9"
Starting Weight: 143ish?

Body fat: going to calculate this later, last known measurement was around 25%, boo!

Hey everyone. My name is Amber. I am not exactly following the entire plan, more the Strength training than anything else. I will be incorporating some of the meal ideas and food information into what I am already doing but not following that completely. I am an avid runner and will be continuing that even though the first phase says no cardio...I NEED IT! lol My number one goal is to build more muscle and speed up my metabolism.

HELLO SPARKLY FRIENDS!!!

My name is Katie and I'm super-pumped to try this new approach to weight training. I used to weight-train as an athlete in college, but it was always a group/team thing, never a strict, regimented, monitored thing. I go to the gym to "lift weights" and I always feel like I'm aimlessly picking up weights and doing things with them w/o any sort of rhyme or reason. I'm excited about having a set program and plan! I've been eating with a "clean approach" for the past month or so, so I'm pretty excited to take that further. I currently weigh 164#, but this journey isn't really about how much I weigh... I want to be strong and healthy. If I weigh 164#, that's okay... so long as I have arms like Arnold Schwarzengger did when he was Conan. :oP

HEY ALL -
I am Jocelyn, good friend of FITWHIT, Jamie Eason fan, and food addict!
My goals through this program are:
1: FINISH STRONG! I have never committed to something like this... usually start then wuss out... NOT THIS TIME!
2: Beat my food idol... practice self-control and portion control! Learn to LOVE eating clean!~
3: Body changes are just a perk for me... if it happens - AWESOME! If little body changes - that is ok... I am doing this for my INSIDE, not so much the outside!

Hey friends! I'm so glad you're on board to join me and thousands of other Jamie Eason fans in her 12 week Trainer Challenge! It will be quite an adventure, and one that I am certain will truly transform many of us over the next three weeks.

Please use this page to introduce yourself to the team, and lay out a few of your main goals for the next 12 weeks.

My name is Whitney, and I'm a Spark-nut and a Jamie Eason admirer! My goal through this program is to focus on building muscle mass and to lean out the last bit of fluff I have over my mid-section particularly. I'd like also to make clean eating a more consistent part of my lifestyle, and to work on self-control and smaller more frequent meals throughout the day. This will be a great challenge for planning and killing my sugar-cravings (hopefully!).

-Whitney
