What I love on Spark People is that the support is unlimited! You need motivation, read up on the success stories and/or post a query and someone will be there to help you along. It is always difficult to start something new but Spark People make it so easy for us all to achieve our ultimate goals. Take it step by step: a) study the site, b) incorporate good habits from the beginning, c) start exercising, etc.
As co-leader of this team I recommend that you check out the following link. This will inform you as to what is available to you on Spark People. Very useful ... It will actually help you get set up on SP.
Good luck on your journey and if you need help at any point, just drop me a line and I'll get back to you pronto.

Hi, and welcome to our team. It sounds like you live in an awesome location and a busy one too with all your pets. Others have toldyou about all the places for assistance here on Sparks and I so agree. It is an awesome site with so much to offer. Drop by for a daily chat too. Looking forward to getting to know you!

Hi: Vienna is near Tillsonburg, Ontario. We are actually 2 minutes from Port Burwell on Lake Erie. We are surrounded by trees but not actually in the woods. It is quiet, peaceful and I love it here. My husband is more relaxed than he was on our old place and it has only been 2 months since we moved. Still organizing boxes etc. but that's half the fun.
Welcome to Sparkpeople. Be sure to take advantage of all the great free online sources available here, such as the nutrition and fitness trackers. Also, the online community is great. We are all here to offer support when you need it, or celebrate your successes with you.
Here are some links that will help you navigate the site and get started!
Take this first week to familiarize yourself with the tools here. Once you get used to using them, it becomes easier to use them even when you are busy. Personally, I spent my first week learning to use the tools, and just tracking everything I was already eating and doing for exercise. It gave me a baseline to work from. It also gave me a chance to really decide what my goals were, and how to get there.
This site can only provide the support and the tools to reach these goals. You need to put the hard work in. Personally, I end up kicking my own butt every day. Feel free to check out my blogs to see how I kick my butt out the door to get my fitness in. I can tell you, once I am finished with my exercise for the day, I feel great. No more I should do this and I should do that. Instead, I feel accomplished, and able to relax and enjoy the rest of my day.

You can not change yesterday - it's done. You can only dream of tomorrow. The only day you can change is today. What are you going to do today to reach your goals of tomorrow?
It's supposed to be hard. If it wasn't hard, everyone would do it. The hard is what makes it GREAT

I am just starting out on this journey (AGAIN). I live in a log cabin in Vienna, Ontario. I am disabled to a degree but still manage to enjoy life. We have 10 acres of land, 2 cats, a St. Bernard and a chicken named Miss Bertha Cluck. Tomorrow (July 2) Bertha will be joined by 15 more chickens which hopefully will not become pets!!! I will be 65 at the end of the year, enjoy crocheting, knitting, being an aunt to my niece and great nieces and a step grandmother to Ashley.
