Sounds like you are well on your way. I find that the thing I like best about this site is that it helps me be accountable to myself. It gives me a place to 'check in' and make sure I'm doing what I promised myself I would do... after all, a promise to me is important!

What I love on Spark People is that the support is unlimited! You need motivation, read up on the success stories and/or post a query and someone will be there to help you along. It is always difficult to start something new but Spark People make it so easy for us all to achieve our ultimate goals. Take it step by step: a) study the site, b) incorporate good habits from the beginning, c) start exercising, etc.

I've only just tapped into this resource and I'm still trying to sort it all out, so give me a little time. I am hoping that this is what I've been looking for. I don't want to spend any more money on knowledge that I already have in regards to weight loss and being healthy. I have the tools... I just need to make the commitment and get on with it! Still, I want to do it at my own pace and know that this isn't a race or a competition. It is just me working on me... :))
