Hello there and to Spark People and to our team!
What I love on Spark People is that the support is unlimited! You need motivation, read up on the success stories and/or post a query and someone will be there to help you along. It is always difficult to start something new but Spark People make it so easy for us all to achieve our ultimate goals. Take it step by step: a) study the site, b) incorporate good habits from the beginning, c) start exercising, etc.
As co-leader of this team I recommend that you check out the following link. This will inform you as to what is available to you on Spark People. Very useful ... It will actually help you get set up on SP.
Good luck on your journey and if you need help at any point, just drop me a line and I'll get back to you pronto.

You are what you make yourself. Your motivation is yourself. What you want is your motivation for losing weight. This comes from within. Apparently someone mentioned to me there is no such thing as will power. The power is YOU.
You've given yourself a very attainable goal so go for it!
Check our the "daily chat" for more support and feedback. Many of us are in your age bracket and it's a wonderful group.

Hi and welcome to the team!
Hi all Canadians. I am in the beautiful city of Kingston, Ontario. I paddle on a breast cancer survivor dragon boat team and my goal is to get buffed for the team and for me. 40 pound to lose! I am giving myself two years to get into better physical condition and be all that I want to be when I hit 60!
