emoticon Hello there and emoticon to Spark People and to our team!

What I love on Spark People is that the support is unlimited! You need motivation, read up on the success stories and/or post a query and someone will be there to help you along. It is always difficult to start something new but Spark People make it so easy for us all to achieve our ultimate goals. Take it step by step: a) study the site, b) incorporate good habits from the beginning, c) start exercising, etc.

Thank you for the nice welcome! I do need to step up my exercise game & embrace the winter here. I have the cross country skis....must get off my rear!

emoticon I'm from Toronto but know London fairly well.
Snowshoeing is an excellent exercise if you can do it because you have to lift your knees so high to make the next step. If you are into Xcountry skiing that's good too. As a matter of fact, any exercise is good.
My advice is to fill out the trackers every day to see your progress.

I want 2013 to be the year I get serious about living a Heathy lifestyle! I'm 54 and need to get into an active fitness routine. Snowshoeing, perhaps? emoticon
