What I love on Spark People is that the support is unlimited! You need motivation, read up on the success stories and/or post a query and someone will be there to help you along. It is always difficult to start something new but Spark People make it so easy for us all to achieve our ultimate goals. Take it step by step: a) study the site, b) incorporate good habits from the beginning, c) start exercising, etc.
As co-leader of this team I recommend that you check out the following link. This will inform you as to what is available to you on Spark People. Very useful ... It will actually help you get set up on SP.
Good luck on your journey and if you need help at any point, just drop me a line and I'll get back to you pronto.

I'm from Toronto but know London fairly well. Snowshoeing is an excellent exercise if you can do it because you have to lift your knees so high to make the next step. If you are into Xcountry skiing that's good too. As a matter of fact, any exercise is good. My advice is to fill out the trackers every day to see your progress. Drop into the 'Daily Chat' for more feedback and support.
