Hi and welcome. I have a daughter who is at University and has a Spark Page and we have dealt with similar issues to what you are going through. Get your spark page made. I know it takes time to get started here (a lot at the beginning) but there is no rush. Pick a streak like logging on every day and spinning the wheel and the rest will come. There are many resources to explore and lots of supportive teams. If you are already exercising an hour five days a week you are doing great. Advice I gave to my daughter: A crock pot, bulk barn for oatmeal, flax seed, nuts and seeds, pasta and spices. Frozen vegetables and tinned beans to add to stir fries, chilis and spaghetti sauces. Drink lots of water. Try and get fresh fruits and vegetables when you can (like when Mom and Dad come and offer to take you out for dinner). Chef Meg on Spark People has tried to make some ecconomical recipes you might look at. I think there are some spark teams for students, emotional eating and eating healthy on a budget so check those out too! Blogging is a great tool and a great way for people to get to know you.

Hi everyone, I'm Reana. I'm a university student and I am a little frustrated with my fitness. I make sure to workout for an hour 5 days a week, i TRY to eat healthy (being a student i sometimes wind up living off of rice or campbell's chicken noodle soup for a month). But I am still not feeling good about myself or my body.

I had an eating disorder throughout highschool which my parents helped me get over before i left home, but ever since i have had issues with depression and an utter lack of self confidence. I am hoping that joining a community online will help me get in shape the healthy way and help me to feel beautiful and confident again.

Anyone students having similar issues with diet cost and limited budget or people who want their old bodies back gimmi a shout out.
