Hi Melissa welcome from eastern ontario. I too work in a group home with developmentally and physically challenged adults.

goals
lose 10 lbs - buy a pattern from etsy
lose 20 lbs - by a book for ereader not onsale
lose 30 lbs - go to the movies
lose 40 lbs - buy a whole new outfit
lose 50 lbs - a reiki session
lose 60 lbs - a day to pamper myself
lose 70 lbs - new shoes
lose 80 lbs - buy a whole new outfit
lose 90 lbs - get my nails done
lose 100lbs - get a tattoo
lose 110 lbs - a weekend getaway
reach my goal - give myself a big hug and a bikini!!

SP has all the tools and features to help you become healthier and more fit and with the support of its members - well, it's a recipe for success, but it will require time and patience on your part as the changes you are looking for won't happen overnight, but they will happen!! Take it slow, making gradual changes - ones that are reasonable, doable and sustainable for the long run - these should be positive life changes you are planning to make - this is not a quick fix.

We are a community of like-minded people who all have similar goals who truly want to see each other succeed so come to the message boards as often as you can for motivation, inspiration and any help you may need along the way.

Hello All,

I am just getting started on this site. I heard about it from a message board that I go to. I thought it was about time that I did something to take care of me. I am 33 years old. I am single, no kids. I have two wonderful Jack Russell Terriers. I work in a group home with the mentally handicapped.

I need to lose weight so that I can live a better life and done all the things that I dream of doing.
