Hello,Anne,

It is so nice to have you with us! I have a daughter who is only willing to communicate with me off and on, so I know how painful that is! I am glad you have such a nice happy place, watching your son and soon-to-be DIL plan their wedding.

I also have core things that I need to address about myself and my relationship with food. Even as I am typing this, I am fantasizing about eating a half gallon of ice cream. My family is starting to refuse to enable me by getting me any ( I have no way to the store) but it is infuriating, and I feel very mis-used. Pretty sick, eh?

Anyway, I didn't mean to get into that in your welcome, ha ha. I am really glad that you are here with us! make yourself at home!

Hi, I am Ann, married (37 years) with 3 grown children. I live between two states NY and MA. My husband lost his job in Upstate NY and found work after a year plus in a place near Boston MA. I go with him as much as I can but our home, kids and grand-kids are back in Upstate NY.

My oldest daughter (34) who I have an estranged relationship with, has just been diagnosed with lung cancer. My middle daughter (31) is a single mum to a 3 & 1/2 year old boy who is autistic. I try and help as much as I can.

My son (26) is getting married next year so he and my soon to be DIL, are in the crazy stage of planning! This is my happy place, seeing these two together and so happy!!!

I get stressed and use food inappropriately. I reward myself with food when I know that is not good. I need to change some real core things about me, so I can continue to loose weight and keep it off!!




Watching salt intake also trying not to buy foods that have high fructose corn syrup, sugar, rice syrup, corn syrup, fructose, sucrose etc. in the first three ingredients.

No foods that have more than 3 ingredients that I can not pronounce.

If an item has more than 10 ingredients I put it on the Do Not Buy List as it is too processed.
