Hi Renee (and others, if your'e out there).
I think my relationship with weight is so unhealthy. There are a lot of reasons that I re-gain what I have lost, but the main thing is emotional and stress eating. I use food as a crutch to avoid dealing with things. It's the one comfort when things suck, you know? Not only that, but it's a big focus during good times too- celebrating with a cake (and not just on birthdays!), going out for dinner, drinks, having people over and not wanting to "diet", etc. Depression has been an issue for me in the past as well.
I hope and pray this time is different. But I've said that before. :(
It does help to talk to others who've been there. I've been active on boards before and people had never really had success and jumped from one plan to another, or didn't have much to lose in the first place, so it's hard to find someone who knows exactly what I'm going through.
I know there are people like us out there who've lost, then gained, then lost, then, gained, etc. Hope we find some more, but in the meantime I'd love to chat with you!
