Hi there! and welcome! I'm pretty new to this site too. I come on quite frequently, at this point, because it keeps me really motivated. Wow, good for you for taking control of your own life! It's all about choices, right? Are you on a plan now? Or just thinking about it at this point? I can imagine how tired you are raising a little guy on your own and I know from experience that nothing makes me feel more tired and run down than when I eat junk and crap food. You can't change the fact that you are a momma (nor do you want to!) but you CAN make lots of changes that will help you feel your best AS a momma!

Hi Everyone! I am looking forward to being part of this group. Boy do I need it. Like many of you I have struggled with my weight for years, then about ten years ago I got it under control mostly thru running and training for races. Then about four years ago I was in a realtionship that I simply could not bring myself to end. To cope, I snacked each night..sort of dulling the pain of forcing me to examine this (after all I DID want to get married, but just not to him!). The relationship ended but the weight has remained. Fast forward, I'm still single and a Mom now to an adorable little son that I adopted by myself. He is the light of my life and such a joy, but I'm exhausted and tired...mostly from being so out of shape. I need go get going and soon..please help! I plan to post often as I think this will help me stay on track. Good luck to everyone!!
