Hi Everyone! I am looking forward to being part of this group. Boy do I need it. Like many of you I have struggled with my weight for years, then about ten years ago I got it under control mostly thru running and training for races. Then about four years ago I was in a realtionship that I simply could not bring myself to end. To cope, I snacked each night..sort of dulling the pain of forcing me to examine this (after all I DID want to get married, but just not to him!). The relationship ended but the weight has remained. Fast forward, I'm still single and a Mom now to an adorable little son that I adopted by myself. He is the light of my life and such a joy, but I'm exhausted and tired...mostly from being so out of shape. I need go get going and soon..please help! I plan to post often as I think this will help me stay on track. Good luck to everyone!!
