I have been on my weight loss journey since May 2010. I have lost 50 kilos by completely changing my lifestyle and adopting a low fat diet and a daily exercise regime
The weight fell off very quickly in the beginning, in fact I actually developed gall stones and had to have my gallbladder removed earlier this year becasue of my rapid weight loss. Since about June 2011 I have maintained at 74/75 kilos, but seem unable to lose any more weight. I am still eating around 1200 to 1300 cals per day for the most part as well as exercising for 20 to 30 minutes 4 or 5 times per week. I tend to binge periodically. and then to compensate, I eat yoghurt and salads for the next few days to stablise my weight-This is an issue that started about 6 months ago and is probably also why my weight is not decreasing. I really want to drop these last several kilos and am becoming increasingly frustrated with myself.................
