Haven't been here for iver a yr. In December I think I weighed about 179.. i have been up and down since the. I am happy to say that right now I weigh 162.5. I am checking in daily to be kept accountable. Thanks spark for being here.

I did reach my goal this week. I weighed in at 199 on Monday. I was a few weeks late form my original time table, but I still made it there.

Next goal is to hit 190 by the end of March. It would be nice if I hit this one a couple of weeks early......

Thanks Frank! For me it was little steps at a time. First beginning with finding a group I felt accountable to (kind of like a biggest loser challenge) and second learning that I needed to track my food to understand what I was putting in my body. Soon after that I found another community in CrossFit and really researched the science of nutrition. I don't think those two things were necessary to my weight loss other than knowledge is power and community (here on Spark or with a physical group) seems to be the key for me to succeed!

- make a chain of paperclips for every lb you lose
- don't clean your plate, your body is not a better garbage can than the one in the kitchen

Nice goals all, thanks for posting!
Short term goal- continue to get 4-5 workout sessions a week throughout December, CrossFit, Swimming, Running, Hiking and eat mostly clean.
Medium Goal- Keep pregnancy weight gain to 25-30lbs total. Due in March.
Long Goal- Train to be ready for Tough Mudder June 2012

My short goal is to break the 200 lb barrier. I don't know the last time I was there, in the past year I have been as low as 201 and a high of 230.
