Hello everyone! I am new to SparkePeople and just finding my way through the website :-) I am 28, married, working, and trying to BALANCE life, work, and wellness-- I'm sure I'm not the only one. Recently, I've decided to take my health more seriously, so I quit smoking approximately one month ago. I smoked for about a year and a half, and despite that not being a LONG time, quitting nicotine has certainly been one of the HARDEST things I've had to do. In retrospect, I see that it was another way for me to cope with my busy life, and only added to some already unhealthy habits. The one I've struggled with the longest is over-eating and under-exercising. This is a LIFESTYLE I've tried to change several times, and hope that with the support of this site I can really accomplish. I fully believe it will be a journey, not just a destination of "20lbs lighter." I'm hoping to make some wonderful connections through SP, and learn from others.
