ALISHA6592,

Congrats for stepping up to the plate and making some positive changes.

A great team for emotional support is the Emotional Eaters Team

You are on track for a better life and a healthier way of life too.

Glad you chose to get on track in your 30's.

I made that decision much later in life and the longer we wait, the more difficult it seems to be, for me anyway.

Have a SPlendid Journey

Tony

Thank you, my dad was my greatest motivator and I feel bad that I've lost track. My dad was diagnosed with Parkinsons disease last year and as I can't help him a great deal. I decided that i needed to lose weight and get fit so I could eventually run half and full marathons for ParkinsonsUK and raise money for research. I hope to run my towns half marathon next year and the London marathon in 2013. I haven't told him what I'm doing want it to be a surprise I was always into power sports at school etc and before I started couldn't even run 100m with all the weight I'd put on,I'm now running 5k looking to run 10k by christmas. Had to change everything in my life to achieve this and it's the best thing I've ever done for myself. For first time in years I feel better in myself and can actually just go into any shop and buy off the peg without worrying if it'll fit.Still a lot of hard work to do as have another 3st to go to get to my opt running weight for long distances. But with the support of the people on here I know I will achieve it just as you will be able to achieve your goals. Will be there for every step if you need me. xx

Hi there, I've only been a member 1 week and already this site and the people on here have been a great help. I had already lost 3st previously but still have 3st to go and had totally lost track. The tools on here make it really easy to help maintain your goals with eating and fitness, doing most of the hard work for you in as far as working out what you should and shoudn't be doing or have, and if you slip up it does show. The support is brilliant congrats when you do well and support and motivation when things don't go quite according to plan. I wish you every success and have faith that YOU CAN DO IT.. Think positive and the sky's the limit, with every small step you take towards being who you want to be it will get better. Fran x
