Thanks for the intro! I can relate, and also know that you can do it!!! Sometimes the small number of pounds at the end is the hardest, but having a reasonable timeframe will help you be successful! A pound a week is do-able and needs to be seen as progress in the right direction. A pound is a deficit of 500 calories a day from what you're doing now. A 500 calorie reduction isn't much for most. You can do it!!!

Way to go and welcome!

Hi to all , Today is the first day on this journey. 20 pounds I would like to lose by the end of the year sooner if possible. Trying to get started. did Zumba and logged food and water so far today. I am 60 years old and have been married for 41 years. have 2 children and 5 grandchildren. Love to dance and to travel. Want to finish what I started. I lost 120 pounds and have gained back 20. I NEED to get those 20 pounds back off. It is so much harder this time around. Being older and the metabolism is not working as well as it should.

I will succeed,It may take some time but I will get there
