I also have type 2 diabetes. Don't think of insulin as "yuck" but as a springboard to get your sugars down and lose weight, then get off it! Got to think positive!

Just keep swimming.

Wow, we sound like brother and sister, as far as our health issues anyway

I too, have most if not all of those issues myself

You can do this

make it YOU CAN DO THIS

Good luck with getting your life changes on track. Have some FUN getting into good habits and finding all the wonderful tools here at SPark!

Rome wasn't built in a day and our bodies don't get out of shape in a day either, so hang in there and stay with the program.

I am 51 year old female, 5 feet 5 inches tall, weigh about 260 lbs. Have graying honey brown hair with blue eyes. Have several health issues ( Diabetes, high blood pressure, O.A., high cholesterol, depression, sleep problems) and have very limited movement due to arthritis, weak ankles, bad knees, spine and hip pain, so I will not be able to do much in the way of exercising. I just started taking insulin for my diabetes ( yuck) and having to watch my carb & cal. count. Trying to recovery from a bad fall from 2 1/2 weeks ago ( knee gave out while walking and fell with all my weight on my right kneecap) and knee is still very swollen, can barely even bend it. So my main goal is weight lost and controlling my diabetes.
