While there are a lot of great tools here, I encourage you to dive right in and start tracking every single morsel of food that you swallow -- that alone helps you have willpower to only eat when you're hungry. It also will help you to see the nutritional value of what you're eating so you start eating wisely.
Since you know that you tend to "fizzle out" after a while, you should think of developing a network of Sparkfriends early in your program. Find teams with goals similar to yours and start posting on those team boards. Since we have over 6000 newbies on this team forum, post here. Read other posts and comment. Get to know others in your Class of 9/4-10. Having friends who are on the same journey to help you stay accountable -- and for you to do the same thing! -- will be extremely valuable in the weeks and months to come!
