Be careful not to set your goals of weight loss for too many pounds too fast. Slow is better.

usually it is said that up to 2 pounds per week is maximum

Hello everyone. I am a 26 year old single mother of a energetic 10 year old girl. I have been trying to get into the Army National Guard for about 2 1/2 years now and it has been a struggle for me. It has taken me a year and half to lose 20 lbs. I have moved my goal deadline several times to get in because I have not had any motivation or support to lose the wieght that I need too. If there is anyone that can help me I would really appreciate it. I can really use the help. It is the best choice that I have made for my daughter and I for me to join the military. I just really need someone to support me and give me the motivation to get where I want to be.
