Hello Kiran,
I have the same tenancy to reward myself with "bad" treats or foods for sticking to my "diet". Since reading and applying the information I've been learning in the book the SPARK and the great tools on this program. I am now rewarding myself with "goodies" for my spark page and with things that will help me to stick to my new healthier lifestyle. Like a new water bottle, or jump rope! These rewards feel even better because there is no guilt, or the feeling that I have to start over. So keep up the good work and you will reach your goals.
REWARDS FOR YOU!!! emoticon emoticon emoticon

Hi Diane,
Thank you so much. I actually start to see progress in my weight and I get so excited and decide I can reward myself...usually that reward ends up lasting for a few days! I need to get past this...I want permanent changes in my eating habits not just temporary! So hoping that Sp can help me with this! :)

Kiran

Welcome, Karen.

You've come to the place to find the support you need. Question - when you break the healthy eating cycle, is it because you're starting to get too thin, so you decide to eat something that is not healthy and high in calories? Or do you eat the high-calorie thing as a reward because you're reaching your goal weight?

You're going to be successful this time -- you've got the tools with SP, and you'll also get the support you need!

Diane

Hello everyone! My name's Karen! I'm a university study looking to drop about 20 lbs in the next 4 months! I am also hoping to develop healthy eating habits so I can maintain my weight! It's been a lot of yo-yo-ing for my weight in the last 4 years. I always eat healthy and then realize I am starting to lose weight and end up eating something super unhealthy thinking I will offset it! I'm looking for a buddy who can help me stay motivated and push through this little obstacle that appears everytime I try this! :)
