Hi everyone, I've been walking consistently for about 8 weeks but I've lost my mojo the last 2 weeks, need some help getting it back. My goal is to be ready to walk the Hot Chocolate 5K walk at the end of Jan. I'm close, just need to keep at it.

I have been a member for a little over 4 years. I lost 70 pounds in the first two years, and gained 50+ of it back in the second two years. Here I am... ready to lose it all over again, but I have changed. I think that I am finally really ready to make deep and lasting changes in all areas of my life. I will lose 10 pounds by Halloween! Thank you for letting me join you as the 32nd member of the team!

Hi All!

My name is Kelly and I have been off and on Sparkpeople for almost 4 years now. I love the site and always use if for recipes and such but about 3 times a year I get really into it to track my diet and workouts.

I just recently moved to the Boston area from Colorado and I'm completely starting over in career, friends, town, and life in general. I lost about 10 pounds and kept it off 4 years ago, of which I am very proud of but I have the remaining stubborn 10 lbs left to lose.

It is nice to read everyones' stories and happy to join the team! GO US!

This time next week, next month, next year you'll have wished you started today.

Hey all! I've been on SP since April, but really USING it since October or so. I don't weigh myself very often (1-2 times per month). I'm a working mom of two toddlers (my hubby stays at home). I'm busy busy busy and also completely exhausted, which makes exercising a challenge. But, I've been getting up at 4:45am for bootcamp two or three days a week for over a year now and I can now consistently run a 5K in under 33 minutes. It's no longer a big deal when I got out and run three miles.

Unfortunately, despite my best efforts, the pounds are NOT melting away. I have no clue how people lose 4 pounds in a week -- it just don't happen that way for me. I'm happy if I can manage a half a pound a week.

But, I'll just keep on keepin' on. And hopefully you will all motivate me!

Hi. I'm Doreen and I had to look up how long I'd been on Sparkpeople - 3 years this month. I'm 62 rising 19, retired and living in Wales. I originally lost 50 lbs, put half back on and then stuck! I'm doing everything right, but there it is. Suck it up. I have diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol, all of which is being medicated On the other hand I put on 1 lb in December, so plateaus are not all bad! My birthday is 17th July. By coincidence this was also my parents' wedding anniversary, and is my father-in-law's and daughter's birthday. I believe in getting things all over quickly. From time to time I blog about things not necessarily to do with dieting.

My name is Nadine, and like taso, I will be making 3 years on spark in february too! I was doing really good until recently. The last couple of months I have been fluctuating and then the holidays came and fuggedaboutit! I KNOW I gained, how much? I dont not know, but enough for me to see it and for my pants to be tight! lol SO my motivation right now just wanting to love my body again. I dont feel too sexy right now and so I need to bring sexy back! At least for me... LOL

Hi. :) My name is Sierra. I'm a full time student at Colorado State University. If I can pass statistics, I'll graduate in May! I'm just tired of having a gut. My name is DayZee/Tas/Taso and I have been on Spark for just about three years (in February)! I hit my goal weight last year October and have since basically maintained (I may have gained 5 teensy weensy pounds during these holidays....maaaaaybe, LOL!). I'm looking forward to a cruise in February which should break up the monotony that is Winter. Currently, the cruise is what is motivating me to lose some more weight and get my strength training in, woohoo!

Birthday is: October 24th!
