for those of you who do have some of the Unsweetened Vanilla Almond milk on hand...I just used it to make a yummy smoothie for lunch.
1 cup almond milk
1/2 baked sweet potato
few tablespoons of almond flour (also from TJ's)
splenda or agave sweetener
drop or two of almond extract
Yummy, and SO good for you!
I like quite a few things...for a special appetizer they have a brie cheese filled with brandy, fruit and nuts. They have a good fresh bruschetta spread which is great on french bread. The boilable Indian dinners are pretty good. For a fun desert they have creme brulee and many other good things. Enjoy your shopping trip to TJ's. Inga

Welcome to the team!
My rabbits LOVE wheatgrass. Me, not so much.
On the internet, nobody knows your socks don't match.
Welcome to the group. You will get lots of great ideas on things to buy at Trader Joes. I usually go and find quite a few new things to try every time.
Dirtgal: I love the laughing cow light garlic and herb cheese, I am having that right now as my pre work out snack on some of the trader Joe everything pretzel slims. YUM.
Be yourself, you are unique. Remember there is no one out there more qualified for the job.
If you go to the thread labeled "Favorite New Products - Rants and Raves" on the team forum page you'll get several pages of suggestions and ideas for using TJ products. It's my favorite food store and I hope you'll come to love it as well.

Welcome! At the top of my list is the red/green/yellow (depending on your "spicy" tolerance) Tuna Curry pouches. They come in a vacuum sealed pouch, near the canned tuna. Just heat and serve over brown rice, or I use steamed cauliflower. Very tasty, not at all fishy, in fact tastes more like curry chicken.
Next would be the Light Laughing Cow Garlic & Herb wedges. Perfect to add to a baked potato, or on pita bread.
Kozy Shack No Sugar Tapioca cups (refrigerated) at 90 calories make a great desert, as do the 100 calorie packs of Chocolate Toucan cookies.
Frozen Steel Cut Oatmeal...perfect breakfast with some fruit and almond milk...also sold there.
Once you get in the store, you'll be inspired by so much more. Happy shopping!!!
Hi all! I'm new to SP, new to this group, and re-newed to the suburbs of Chicago. I was looking for a healthy place to grocery shop, and it seems as though Trader Joe's is the place to go.
Does anybody have product suggestions? High protein, low cal, big taste?
And what are your feelings on wheatgrass?
Glad to meet you all and hope to hear back soon :)
