Thanks for the welcome! And yes, I agree - though I don't get called tiny as much as maybe I used to, haha, I do have a rather youthful appearance and persona, so that probably contributes. And if I do ever mention anything about wanting to loose weight (which I hardly ever do) people tend to react in a "what/you don't need to!?" sort of way. Except my mother of course ;)
I have found SP to be pretty good. I'm actually in the middle of your weight range and about an inch shorter. I'm always surprised when someone calls me tiny cause I'm still trying to lose those last 5 lbs....
Good luck with your goals!

Hey petite friends, I posted a lengthy intro here: http://www.sparkpeople.com/myspark/team_me ssageboard_thread.asp?board=-1x1323x49 470316 (can people from other teams read things posted on other teams? I'm new to the community aspect of spakpeople) but I'm so glad to find a petite forum. I have previously shied away from using a community for weight-loss support because at 5'3" and fluctuating between 125 and 135lbs, I think that most people still perceive me as small and not someone who needs to lose much weight -- but I know that you guys get it! I am so glad to see petites of all heights and weights here.
I picked up the Jim Karas petite diet book a little while back for a similar reason (excited to see something geared to us who are a little more vertically challenged than others) and am finally attempting to give it a go. We'll see!
